There is no denying the fact that eyebrows are the playground of beauty. You only need to click through social media to see a wide range of hairstyles for your eyebrows, including fishtail designs, Nike swooshes, and even unicorn horns.
On the other hand, just when you thought you had seen everything there is to see, people started talking about the peculiar new halo brows…
In the same way that the lovely crazy world of social media is responsible for the development of many bizarre beauty fads, halo brows are part of that world. Apps such as TikTok and Instagram have emerged as the most fertile ground for the development of trends that subvert conventional notions of beauty.
Hannah Lyne, a British-born influencer 16 years old, is the creator of halo brows, which are a halo-like arc across your forehead that unites both brows into one loop. Her new doodles went viral almost immediately after they were posted online.
According to Lyne’s description on the Instagram photo in which she debuts the style that has left many both excited and perplexed, “So me and [a friend] were talking about the fishtail brow trend and then we came up with this,”
The beauty blogger clarified to Pop Sugar that the “look was influenced by fishtail brows” and that it was not a joke while she was speaking with them.
“I was having a conversation with a friend trying to come up with a new idea for a look, and all of a sudden it clicked in my head that I should connect my brow tails,” she said. “It was a complete and utter revelation.”
“I just want people to embrace being silly and doing weird, creative looks!” Lyne added in continuation of her discussion of her ideas with Yahoo Style.
Fad that is “ridiculous”
There was a flurry of varied reactions to the halo brows fad, as is the case with many other trends that were birthed on social media.
One person says, “I love it!” while another user writes, “All of your looks are so original… ” A number of Instagram users appeared to be enamored with the design and lauded Lyne’s inventiveness. To tell you the truth, your talent is boundless!
“I don’t know how you find the inspiration for your ideas. They are very inventive, and you always manage to carry them off so successfully! One more person says, “You have an incredible amount of talent.”
A significant number of internet users, on the other hand, were quick to label the revised unibrow as a “ridiculous” trend.
An individual writes in the comments section of Lyne’s Instagram post, “Vomits Uncontrollably,” indicating that they are experiencing vomiting. A second person contributes, “I am unable to determine whether or not she is joking,” while a third person writes, “Instagram? To a greater extent, Instaregret.”
While this was going on, additional people commented that she comes out as “ridiculous” and claimed that they are “deleting Instagram because of this photo.”

The “heavenly halo brows” were described as “strangely beautiful” by Cosmopolitan newspaper.
What the publication has to say about the looped eyebrows is, “Get ready to meet the unconventional yet gorgeous work of arch.”
It is entertaining to watch makeup artists experiment with different methods to do their eyebrows, regardless of whether they have one or two of them. This is true even if you do not agree with the look.
Can you tell me what you think about the halo brows? If you could choose between plucking or waxing your brows, which would you prefer? We would appreciate it if you could share your opinions with us, and then spread the word about this article to your friends so that we may also hear from them.
