“Papa John…you spent your life fighting for and making miracles happen for the most vulnerable kids in your community,” she said in a lengthy letter to Jeremy’s father.

“You and your elves had fulfilled a little girl with cancer’s dream by transforming an airline hanger into the North Pole when I first met you. You brought her joy, calm, and hope. as the one you provided for us.

“You’ve supported me consistently and had faith in me even when I didn’t.” I also have faith in myself. Perhaps some of the people in your immediate vicinity didn’t think I was good, but you did. She gushed, “I felt safe in your arms, and you let me open up to you.”

“Everyone is aware that requires time.” You frequently traveled thousands of miles to be with us, and you opened your doors to us when we needed your enchantment to get through difficult times, Danielle remarked.

“You were always very loving and caring. You gave me new insight into holidays, particularly Christmas, as someone who didn’t grow up celebrating them. You never considered these occurrences as opportunities to benefit yourself. Rather, you perceived them as opportunities for others to benefit from your affection, acceptance, and generosity.

It was difficult for me to really open up to you for years. With you, your family, and your son Jeremy—who resembles you so much in every way—I have some of my best memories.

“I sincerely appreciate that. It was difficult to proceed with the wedding without you. We used to cry a lot because tiny things would bring you to mind.
