Despite the fact that it was a life of modesty and uncertainty, Swank felt that it was an essential component of the journey that he would not trade for anything.
It wasn’t long until Swank’s mother secured a job as a secretarial assistant, which made it possible for them to rent a bedroom in Burbank from a single mother. It was during this time that Swank began accepting roles, regardless of how little they were.

It was eventually successful that Swank’s perseverance paid off. Boys Don’t Cry is a film that was based on the true story of Brandon Teena, a transgender youngster. She was cast in the part of Brandon Teena in 1999.
