Chuck carried out his promise in this way. When he was twenty-two, his father died in a car crash. His mother could only take so much agony before she broke. A few months after the death of his father, his mother was diagnosed with heart disease. Something that would kill her six months later. Chuck was quite upset. No one else was suitable for him. He considered selling the house on occasion during the few months he spent in sorrow. He truly didn’t want to do it, though. Instead, he chose to put everything else aside and focus on his work. Being a carpenter at the time provided a distraction and a way for him to move on. Chuck survived for a few years in this manner. He was so focused on his work that he was unaware of how disorganized his house was.
But, dad, I’m done with this piece of junk. I must give this place up. But Chuck quickly changed his mind after taking a look around the house and calculating the cost of the repairs that would have to be done before he could try to sell it. “I don’t have the money to tear down this house and build a new one, and I can’t afford to sell it,” Chuck confided in his closest buddy. “Dude, it appears that there is just one solution. Chuck was surprised because he had never seen it before. This mansion has every inch and nook known to him. They seemed as though they had lived there for a hundred years. Chuck saw a number of tables with drawers and an abundance of cloths. He grabbed one and a ring fell out. Startled, he grabbed it. It was that big gold ring. “Now, let us see what else the Harrises have left for me in this place.” There was a lot more jewelry when he turned to gaze around the room.
It seems out my grandfather’s famed career as a goldsmith wasn’t all that impressive after all. Along with magnificent treasure, the young man found many antique jewelry tools. Chuck gave his findings to a collector who owned a museum in the area. “I am confident that I made the right choice,” he told himself. And as fate would have it, during one of the tours, he ran into Jenny, a girl from a nearby town.
