Even though it’s safe to assume that her most glamorous and flamboyant days are over as she approaches her 90s, she still enjoys having fun and flaunting her body confidence.
Joan Collins could teach many “new” superstars a few things about grace, poise, and proper behavior. What a remarkable woman she is, and what a life she has led!
The most well-known role for the Paddington, London-based English actress is likely that of Alexis Carrington Colby from the soap drama Dynasty.
Dynasty turned Joan into a global celebrity, and in 1984, the series topped the US ratings charts. She was making fifteen thousand dollars an episode back then. Every week, about 21 million households watched her, anticipating what her cruel and egotistical persona would produce.
She was the first strong woman to appear on television. And for it, I received a lot of criticism. She is such a vixen, a ballbreaker, and a spiteful person! “You know, I was just defending myself as a self-sufficient woman,” Joan said to CBS in 2019.
Amazingly, about 70 years after making her on-screen debut, Collins is still employed in the entertainment sector.
According to Wikipedia, she starred in the 2022 motion picture projects Tomorrow Morning and The Gentle Sex, and she is currently filming In Bed with the Duchess.
She uses social media extensively as well.

According to reports, the legendary actress took advantage of the holiday season to post a picture of herself practically slaying her husband, Percy Gibson, 57.
Many people expect Christmas to be a time when families gather around the fire and share gifts as the cold winds outside the window blow.
However, Joan Collins discovered that she was deviating from the custom this Christmas. On December 26, she shared with her almost 300,000 followers, “Had a terrific #Christmasday.”
“Thanks to @adambricusse and Evie, I was able to swim in the 82°F temperatures in Beverly Hills and then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Bricusse’s!”
Fans were quick to comment on Collins’ stylish swimwear with a leopard design. The actress looked incredibly radiant despite the fact that she would soon age 90.
She was seen in another picture next to her husband, Percy, whom she has been married to since 2002.
Collins has married five times in total, first to singer-songwriter Anthony Newley and then to actor Maxwell Reed, with whom she has been married for four years. She married businessman Ronald S. Kass in Newley, and Swedish pop sensation Peter Holm followed Kass.
“I regret getting married a few times because I did that too often. I was stupid. Well, I don’t regret marrying Tony [Newley] because I have two wonderful children [Tara and Alexander] and marrying Ron [Kass], I had one beautiful daughter [Katy]. I genuinely regret marrying the Swede [Peter Holm],” Joan said last year.
It is Percy with whom Collins feels she has discovered the strongest bond. During the pandemic, she opened up on their connection.
“I’ve realized how strong our relationship is because of lockdown,” she said. “I enjoy traveling, hosting guests at the villa, and interacting with people, but that changed, and now it’s just Percy and me due to the limitations. The best part is that we are accomplices and partners in crime.
I don’t care what anyone says, Joan Collins is a legend and an icon, and she’s absolutely stunning for her age!
